Privacy Policy

EFFECTIVE JULY 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how B3 Consulting ("B3," "we," "us"), based in Grand Forks, North Dakota, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website or book a consultation with us. By using the site or our booking services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Booking information. When you book a consultation, we collect the information you provide in the booking flow: your name, email address, any phone number or notes you choose to add, and the meeting details you select (topic, format, date, and time).

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number is entered directly with Stripe and never touches our servers. We receive only payment metadata, such as the amount, status, and a Stripe transaction reference.

Communications. If you email us or reply to a booking confirmation, we keep that correspondence.

Technical data. Our hosting providers automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used for security and operating the site.

Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, interactions with the booking flow, and where visitors drop off. This data is used only to improve the site and our services. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not use analytics data for advertising.

Newsletter. If you subscribe to The Frontier Brief, whether through a signup form or the optional opt-in when you book a call, we store your email address with Resend, our email provider, and use it only to send you the newsletter. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from future sends immediately.

Cookies. The site sets analytics cookies (PostHog) to distinguish visits, and the embedded scheduling system sets functional cookies strictly needed for the booking flow to work (for example, to hold your in-progress booking). We do not set marketing or advertising cookies.

2. How we use your information

  • To schedule, confirm, deliver, and follow up on consultations.
  • To process payments and, where applicable, refunds.
  • To send transactional emails such as booking confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notices, and receipts.
  • To respond to your questions and requests.
  • To protect the security and integrity of the site and our services, and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that operate our stack, each bound by their own terms and privacy commitments:

  • Stripe (payment processing).
  • Resend (transactional email delivery).
  • Supabase (database hosting for our scheduling system, located in the United States).
  • Vercel (website and application hosting).
  • PostHog (usage analytics, hosted in the United States).
  • Calendar and video providers we use to attend your meeting (for example, the video conferencing service used for a remote call).

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of B3, our clients, or others. If B3 is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, booking records may transfer as part of that transaction.

4. Data retention

We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to provide services, maintain business and tax records, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see "Your rights" below); we will honor the request except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

5. Security

We use reputable infrastructure providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site and booking flow, and access controls over our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at bookings@buffalo3.ai. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, our processing of your booking information is based on performance of a contract (delivering the consultation you booked) and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. International transfers

We are a United States business and our providers store data in the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

8. Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged on this page or by email to recent clients.
